João is a strategy consultant specialising in venture building, with experience in creating scalable strategies for Fortune 500s. Prior to co-founding Kaivaa, his blend of analytics and creativity has powered significant corporate ventures and market entries across many sectors such as Telecommunications, Retail Banking, Technology, and Media & Entertainment.

Carlos is a trained geologist with experience in oil exploration and production. Prior to co-founding Kaivaa, Carlos received his degree at Imperial College London, and worked at an Australian oil start-up. He then moved to a Technology giant to manage £60M per year in the Retail industry. His expertise lies in classic Geology as well as optimising existing businesses to boost topline and margins.
